Overview

TrainersThe Office of Continuing Education and Training offers new employee orientation, required training, and other courses for our employees. Required trainings are available to our consumers, and their family members. In addition, our ongoing training schedule includes course topics which are of interest to professionals and community members alike.

We offer American Heart Association Training in Heartsaver First Aid & CPR, Basic Life Support for Health Care Professionals, as well as, National Safety Council Defensive Driving Course 4 training courses. Other ongoing training courses are also available to community members and local agency employees for a fee.

InservicesAmerican Heart Instructor Development courses are also scheduled twice per year. If you need CPR/AED training at your facility or agency, give us a call, we have instructors available to help with training. Please call Mari Schacht at

Crotched Mountain has developed relationships with a number of educational institutions throughout the area.

 

 

These courses can provide a convenient alternative to traveling to Nashua, Keene or Manchester to school. Watch the college school flyers for their lists of upcoming courses being offered at our campus.

Throughout the year, Crotched Mountain is host to various college credit, degree and certificate programs and numerous informational sessions and workshops. You will find wellness courses such as yoga, step aerobics or Reiki being offered.

We partner with organizations such as Granite State Long Distance Learning (GSDL) to provide long distance learning opportunities for our students, clients, staff and community members, through video-conferencing. We also work with Moore Center Services, Inc. to offer the College of Direct Support program for our direct care staff.
