Pamela A. Shea received her undergraduate degree in the areas of Special Education and Communication from the University of New Hampshire and a master's degree in Education from Antioch New England Graduate School. Her library science coursework was through the University of Rhode Island. She has been the Director of the Alumni Library Media Center for over 10 years as a certified Media Specialist. Overall, she has worked in the field of Special Education and Media for over thirty years. She is a member of American Library Association, the American Association of School Librarians and the Council for Exceptional Children. Pam has also been a presenter at the Christa McAuliffe Technology Conference. She has authored two articles for library journals, and has participated in Kellogg Foundation Grant conferences in Battle Creek and Washington, DC.
"Because we are a small, non-circulating library, our goal is to offer the community services that are unavailable elsewhere. What makes our Media Center remarkable aren't the materials themselves; it's the many ways that anyone can access those materials."
