ROCCO CHIAPPINI, MD, CBIS, is the Associate Medical Director of Crotched Mountain, and a physiatrist for the Brain Injury Center. He is a 1987 graduate of the University of Virginia and received his medical degree from the Medical College of Virginia in 1992. Following an internship in internal medicine at Westchester County Medical Center in Valhalla, NY, Dr. Chiappini completed his residency at Johns Hopkins and Sinai Hospitals. Dr. Chiappini is certified by the National Board of Medical Examiners and the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. Dr. Chiappini is a recipient of the Arthur Siebens Award 1996 from Johns Hopkins University. He is the author of numerous publications including "Rational Prescription of Exercise in Managing Low Back Pain" which appeared in Critical Reviews in Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine. |

W CARL COOLEY, MD, Medical Director at Crotched Mountain, is a developmental pediatrician and associate professor of pediatrics at the Dartmouth Medical School. He was formerly the Director of the Dartmouth Center for Genetics and Child Development and the Hood Center for Children and Families. Prior to his fellowship training in developmental pediatrics, he spent 11 years in community-based pediatric primary care. Dr. Cooley is co-author of a book Preventive Management of Children with Congenital Anomalies and Syndromes. In 2001, The New Hampshire Pediatrics Society named him Pediatrician of the Year. |
