GREENFIELD, NH - Performing artist and brain injury survivor Jennifer Field, presented her autobiographical one-woman show, A Distant Memory, at Crotched Mountain Rehabilitation Center in October of 2007.

Jennifer Field was born in New York City and raised in New Hampshire . She started riding horses at age 6 and became nationally recognized at age 12, as an award winning show jumper. Her closely watched and promising career was cut short following a near fatal car accident at age 17 that left her comatose and brain damaged. Unable to walk, talk, or use her right arm, Ms. Field battled numerous physical, mental and emotional obstacles over the next decade to regain her physical independence. She fought back to graduate Magna Cum Laude with a bachelor's degree in art history from Wheaton College in Massachusetts.

Ms. Field's critically acclaimed, A Distant Memory is an autobiographical one-woman show, where she takes audiences on her inspirational day-to-day fight for physical independence. A Distant Memory is a poignant, humorous and honest insight into one young woman's response to the challenges she faced following a profound interruption to her life's plans.
