SALARY RANGE:
$20.00 - $30.00
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Graduated from an accredited school of professional nursing; currently licensed in the state of New Hampshire; at least one year experience in nursing in a related field. Supervisory experience is desirable.
Physical strength/endurance/mobility to enable him/her to perform/participate in the following activities:
1. Independent movement/transfer of client weighing up to 50 pounds 30% of each shift.
2. Assisted (2 or more person) movement/transfer of client (regardless of weight) 30% of each shift
with adaptive equipment when necessary.
3. Lifting/carrying of objects/items weighing up to 25 pounds 10% of each shift.
4. Standing/walking 80% of each shift.
5. Climbing stairs 20% of each shift.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
The charge nurse plans, directs and coordinates all medical, nursing, and nursing related care for the clients on their floor in the Adult Brain Injury Center for the period of time during which s/he is working. They work with a reasonable degree of independence in conjunction with the team and under the supervision/direction of the head nurse.
