Overview

Transforming Relationships with Understanding, Support, and Teaching (TRUST)

 

The mission of the TRUST Center for Positive Behavior Support is to assist and advocate for individuals with challenges of learning and behavior and those who support them. We provide parents, teachers, and interested community members with information and tools that allow them to facilitate and support a lifestyle of choice, growth, and happiness. The TRUST Center is continuously building a network of highly skilled leaders who are committed to mentoring individuals with disabilities and those who share life with them. The TRUST Center provides information and learning opportunities aimed at:

  • Conducting functional assessments of behavior
  • Designing hypotheses-driven, multi-component positive support plans
  • Implementing positive support plans

  • Inspiring positive behavior support into broader systems

Training Opportunities

We offer training for Crotched Mountain parents and employees as well as parents and professionals from outside organizations. Our on-going training events include workshops, small group classroom training, intensive hands-on training, and personal consultation for individuals with disabilities and the people who support them.

Lending Library

Our collection of books and videos are available for loan to families and professionals. We also have downloadable articles.
