Grant Deadlines and Meeting Dates

General Grants

Applications are reviewed and awards made by the HGF Trustees four times a year on the second Tuesdays in January, April, July and October.


Deadline dates are firm. Applications to be considered must be received through this website by 5:00 pm on the following dates:


Application Deadline March 9, 2017
Decision Meeting: April 11, 2017

Application Deadline: June 8, 2017
Decision Meeting: July 11, 2017 

Application Deadline: September 7, 2017
Decision Meeting: October 10, 2017


Recreational and Camp Tuition Grants

The deadlines above do not apply to applications for camp tuition or recreational activities as these are reviewed and awarded on an ongoing basis staring in January. Recreation funds are distributed on a first come, first serve basis. The funds go quickly; applications submitted early in the year are more likely to be funded.


Please note: all hippotherapy requests are considered recreational grants, as are all recreational activities not attended and facilitated by a licensed physical, occupational or speech therapist.

Camp Allen Grants

Applications for HGF funds to attend Camp Allen are now administered by Camp Allen. Please do not submit applications for funds to attend Camp Allen through this website. Camp Allen will process all HGF applications for Camp Allen tuition.
