Project Guidelines

The Harry Gregg Foundation provides funds for a wide array of goods and services not funded elsewhere to improve the quality of life of New Hampshire residents with disabilities. Some examples of products and services funded by the foundation include:


  • Costs (up to $500) of non-reimbursed medical or therapy treatments not covered by insurance or other programs
  • Specialty equipment services or supplies
  • Modifications to living area, work site or vehicle (vehicle repairs up to $500 with written estimate; lifetime limit of two)
  • Respite services to the recipient or caregivers
  • Costs of attending a special camp or other recreational activities
  • Computers (up to $500) and adaptive software
  • Vocational, academic classes or specialized (requiring vehicle modifications or specialized instruction) driver evaluation and training


Items Not Funded

The Harry Gregg Foundation does not provide funding for:


  • The purchase of used vehicles other than certain handicap modified vehicles
  • Medical co-pays and deductibles
  • Heating fuel
  • Dental care or dentures
  • Hearing aids
  • Lift chairs
  • Reimbursement for paid products or services over six months old
  • Projects costing more than $4800 will not be considered unless the applicant can show funds or requests pending from other sources, in addition to the Harry Gregg Foundation


Income Guidelines

Applicants with gross income levels above 125% of the New Hampshire Basic Needs and Livable Wage Scale developed by the UNH Office of Economic Initiative and the North County Council will not be considered for funding. 


Income Limits by Monthly Income/2015

  • 2 parents/2 children (both working)   $5,989
  • 2 parents/2 children (one working)   $4,539
  • 2 parents/1 child (both working)   $5,174
  • 2 parents/1child (one working)   $4,062
  • 1 parent/2 children   $4,996
  • 1 parent/1 child   $4,343
  • Single person   $2,668
  • Two adults $4,003

*add $516 for each additional child
