Level II: Fundamental Aquatic Skills  

             

This level marks the beginning of true locomotion skills. Level 2 participants learn to: Enter water by stepping or jumping from the side, exit water safely using ladder or side, submerge entire head, blow bubbles (bobbing), open eyes underwater, float on front and back, front and back glides, change directions, roll over from front to back and back to front, tread water, and swim on front, back and side using combined arm and leg actions.

 

Who Should Attend

Student must have passed or show competency in Level 1 skills.

Session Dates and Times

Swim lesson sessions run for 6 weeks, meeting once a week for 45 minutes. Choose a day and time listed below that fits your schedule.

 

Session 1 

Runs the week of September 10, 2012 through the week of October 15, 2012.

Cancellation Notice

Make up classes due to Crotched Mountain cancellations will be made up the week following the end of the enrolled session. Classes missed by individuals are not refundable. Credit for programs will be given to those who need to cancel a registration and do so in advance.

 

Costs

Community: $54 per student. Note: $54 first two siblings, additional sibling $43

Greenfield residents: $43 per student

CMRC employees: $33 per student
